Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This site sets one cookie, and it only remembers which language you chose. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site leaves in your browser. On your next visit the site can read it back and remember you, or in this case, remember a preference.
The cookie we set
| Cookie | Type | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Strictly necessary / functional | Remembers the language you picked in the switcher and sends you straight to it next time. Contains nothing but tr, en or de | 1 year |
It is written only when you use the language switcher. Visit the site and leave the language alone, and nothing is stored in your browser at all.
Why we do not ask for consent
NEXT_LOCALE is strictly necessary to deliver a service you explicitly asked for — browsing in the language you selected — which is the second exemption in Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, and §25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in Germany. That is why there is no cookie banner here: not because we skipped it, but because there is nothing to consent to.
What we do not use
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo and the like) — none
- Advertising and retargeting cookies — none
- Social media pixels and embeds (Meta Pixel, X, LinkedIn) — none
- Fingerprinting or device recognition — none
- Third-party cookies — none whatsoever
The site's Content Security Policy restricts connections to connect-src 'self': the page cannot make a request to any host but its own. So the list above is a technical constraint, not a promise.
Local storage and similar technologies
We use no localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or comparable persistent browser storage. The words you collect in the demo are held in the page's working memory and vanish when the tab closes.
How to delete it
Clear site data in your browser settings and NEXT_LOCALE goes with it. Nothing breaks — you simply lose the saved preference, and the language is picked from your browser's Accept-Language header again.
